U8 starts the new season

Our MiniStars kicked off the new season with a game each against the Wanderers and the Ducks. In the game against the hosts, the Wanderers capitalized on a few lapses in the Metrostars defense, while our MiniStars' offense was somewhat subdued. Nevertheless, the numerous fans saw some nice hits, and we were able to take away some valuable lessons for the future.

Refreshed after a short break, we faced the Ducks in our second game. The defense played with more focus than before and recorded all three outs in two innings. The offense also came alive, and the kids continued to enjoy the cheers of family and friends. Although the Ducks maintained the upper hand until the end, improvement was evident in all areas. We need to build on this and train hard so we're well-prepared for the next game day in May. Let's go MiniStars!
