U12 BeaverStars with a sweep in Schwechat

In the first game, the team with pitchers Benji, Simon L. and Ole soon got into the game well and kept their opponents at bay until the final score of 13:7.

In the exciting 2nd game with the pitchers Oskar, Benjamin L., Christoph and Basti, the students fell behind twice in a row by 5 runs each time, but managed to catch up again with a great team performance and a concentrated and enjoyable game - also thanks to clever tactical pitcher changes by the coaches, they won 11:9.
Despite a mixed pitching performance, the team showed great character on this day with concentrated discipline right to the end. Each individual made their own positive contribution to the result. With better control of the balls in the infield, it would have been 7 runs less for the opponents.

Highlights included Simon L.'s inside the park home run and Philipp's very first hit and scored run.
